Other possible connection; Jay, It would make sense to me that they came f rom the TRIER area, as this is where my LENGER/LINGER line seems to have c ome from. I descend from George MICHELS and his daughter Eva MICHE LS who married Christian LENGER at St. Anthony's in Fussville. I have nev er been able to establish where George was buried..his wife was Anna Mar ie THELEN--possibly a descendant of the THELEN line from Trenton/Belgiu m, Washington County area. She is bured with her daughter Elizabteth JON EN (nee MICHELS) at the old St. Martin's Cemetery on Appleton Road near Ti mmerman Field.
