- KAUKAUNA - At 9 o'clock Tuesday in Holy Cross church, Miss Gertrude Helein was married to Edward Marks, the Rev. P. J. Lochman officiating. Leonard Helein was best m an and Miss Edna Jansen was bridesmaid. Miss Helein was attired in a da rk blue suit with hat to match and carried a prayerbook and rosary. The br idesmaid wore a dark blue dress and carried a bouquet of roses, sweetpe as and carnations. A reception was held after the ceremony at the home of the bride's pare nts, Mr. and Mrs. Helein. Sixty guests were present, including several fr om out of the city. They were Mr. and Mrs. Nic Rettler of Black Creek, Mi ss Jansen of Little Chute, Miss Laura Chase of Albertson, Mr. and Mrs. Tho mas Ward and family of Green Bay, Mr. and Mrs. William Ward and fami ly of Wausau. The young couple left on a honeymoon trip to Minnesota and the Dakotas.
