- Miscellaneous Shower Mrs. Jennie Williams entertained 18 friends Tuesday evening at a miscellaneous shower in honor of Miss Rose Forster whose marriage to James McCahn. Jr., will take place at 8 o'clock Saturday. Games were played, prizes going- to Mrs. Williams. Mrs. D. Grieshaber. Mrs. Z. F. Forster. Mrs. Charles Frappe and Miss Theresa Eichinger. A dainty lunch was served at midnight. The guests were Mrs. A. Forster. Mrs. D. Grieshaber. Mrs. Charles Grieshaber, Miss Ella, Nosski. Appleton Post Crescent | Appleton, Wisconsin | Wednesday, June 08, 1921 | Page 5 - Forster-McCann Wedding The marriage of Miss Rose Forster, daughter of Mrs. Amelia Fbrster 802 Maple Grove-st., to James McCann, son of Mr. and Mrs. James McCann, 765 Superior-St, took place at 8 o'clock Saturday morning in St. Joseph church. The bride wore a gown of white accordion plaited georgette and ribbon with an embroidered veil caught with pearls. She carried a shower bou- quet of pink roses. She was attended by Miss Jennie Williams who wore a dress of yellow organdy with a picture hat to match and carried yellow roses Carl McCann attended the groom. A wedding dinner was served to about 50 guests at the home of the bride's mother which was beautifully decorated with ferns and peonies and crepe paper in blue and white. The young people left on a trip to Milwaukee, Chicago, and Cleveland. They will reside at 532 North-st. on their return. - MRS. ROSE FORSTER IS GRANTED DIVORCE Mrs. Rose Forster was granted a divorce from her husband, Vincent Forster. when she appeared before Judge Theodore Berg Monday in municipal court .The custody of their one child was given to Mrs. Forster. The divorce was granted on the grounds of cruel and inhuman treatment.
