    • The marriage of Miss Annette Landers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Landers, Spencer Rd, and Walter Woods, son of Mrs. Julia Woods, Greenville, took place at 8:30 Tuesday morning at St. Mary church. Msgr. W. J. Fitzmaurice performed the ceremony. Little Miss Marquette Long, niece of the bride, was flower girl. Bridesmaids were Miss Eileen Landers, and Miss Katherine Keller, and Harry Hoeffel and Leo Keating were groomsmen.
      Mrs. Norbert Roemer and Lester Balliet sang solos during the mass. Miss Mary Lucille Trackett played the violin accompaniment. A wedding dinner was served to about 150 relatives and friends.
      Out of town guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. I.G. Harriman and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Rhody and family of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hall and family of Green Bay and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hall, Jr. of Green Bay, Miss Marion Mahon of Superior, Miss Mary Agnes Voss of Virginia, Minn., Patrick Summers of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Margaret Cleary and son and Thomas Morrissey of Antigo, Miss Hannah Morrissey of Fond du Lac, Dennis Halloran of Shiocton, Rev. George Casey and Mrs. Casey of Maple Grove.

    • Couples wed for 50 years
      Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. Woods, 1225 S. Northland Ave., observed the 50th anniversary of their wedding June 20 by attending a mass of thanksgiving at St. Bernard Catholic Church and a reception and dinner in their honor at Country Aire.
      The former Annette Landers and Woods were married June 29, 1926. With them for the golden anniversary were Mrs. Ed Farrell, Neenah, and Harry H. Hoeffel, attendants at their wedding.
      The couple has two children, Mrs. Jerome Gomm and Thomas, both of Appleton. There are five grandchildren.
