  • Notes  News Mention (Family):
    • At three o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Congregational parsonage Miss Ethel Lockery, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Lockery, 1075 Fifth street, became the bride of Robert F. Rogers of Crandon. She wore a blue tricotine traveling suit with hat to match and a corsage bouquet of Ophelia roses. Her attendant Miss Madeline Thielen of Oshkosh wore a traveling suit of reindeer cloth trimmed with opposum fur, with hat to match and also a corsage of Ophelia roses. The groom was attended by Chester Hartlett. The ceremony was followed by a reception and dinner to the immediate relatives at the home of the bride. The young people left on an auto trip to Milwaukee and Chicago after which they will be at home at 1035 Fifth street. The groom is well known in Appleton, having graduated from Lawrence College in 1917. He is a member of the Beta Sigma Phi fraternity. He is connected with the Dubisque and Company of Chicago.
