REICHEL DIES Another Old Kaukaunaite Called to Her Last Home - Leav es Many DescendentsThe funeral of Mrs. Theckla Reichel, aged 85 years, was held Saturday morn ing at nine o'clock from St. Mary's church. Rev. Father Steinbrecher offic iating and was attended by her numerous relatives and friends.Mr. And Mrs. Reichel came to Kaukauna thirty years ago from Munich, Bavari a, and were the parents of fourteen children, ten of whom are now livin g. Mr. Reichel died at their home on Beaulieu Hill fourteen months ago, wh ere twelve years ago they they together celebrated their golden wedding wi th about sixty of their progeny present at the event. They are the progeni tors all told of eighty-seven children, grandchildren, and great-grand-chi ldren as follows: Their children are Mrs. Francis Essler, Mrs. Teckla Ketn er, Mrs. Kate Yingling, Mrs. Theresa Hendricks, Jacob, Fred, and Otto of K aukauna, John of Hudson, and Mrs. Mary Habermeier and Joseph of Munich, Ba varia. These children are the parents of fifty-nine children and eig ht of them are married and are the parents of eighteen, making their dire ct descendents eighty-seven.Perhaps no more remarkable a family can be found in this vicinity as sickn ess is scarcely ever known among them and their fruitfulness is beyond com parison. Mrs. Peter Essler, their daughter, is the mother of fifteen child ren and is herself yet a strong healthy woman.Mrs. Reichel was buried by the side of her husband in St. Mary's cemeter y, with whom in life she had lived sixty-two years.Those attending the funeral from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Reid l, Mrs. Joseph Dick, Miss Mary Williams and Anton Ulrich of Appleton and Ehert Reichel of Menominee, Mich.The pallbearers were William, Barney, and John Kobusson, Joseph and Micha el Gertz, and John Hurst
