  Funeral Rites Held For Pioneer Woman Kaukauna - Funeral services for Mrs. Anna McCarty, 71, 223 Brothers street, for 50 years a resident of Kaukauna, were held at 8:30 yesterday morning at the home and at 9 o'clock at Holy Cross church with the Rev. A. Garthaus in charge. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Bearers were Neil, Thomas, Tim, and Richard McCarty, David and Jack Flanagan. The bearers, all grandsons of Mrs. McCarty, were assisted by Henry Minkebige, Edwin Ives and Dr. F. C. Babcock. Honorary bearers were Mrs. Mary Bayorgeon, Mrs. Margaret Bercus, Mrs. Minta Ristau, Mrs. Arthur Ulrich, Mrs. John Regenfuss, Mrs. Jacob Lang, Mrs. Fred Wittman and Mrs. Peter Feller. The Christian Mothers society, of which Mrs. Mc- Carty was a member, attended the services in a body. Among those at the funeral were Mrs. Andrew Ewens, Mrs. Henry Schimmel and daughter, Irene, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Miller, Mrs. Lee Jutton, and daughter, Lela, Charles Mc- Carty, Mrs. Charles Rickert, Mr. and Mrs. James McCoy, Benedict Kramer, Miss Eileen Chambers and daughter, Jean, Mrs. Rose Ewens and Mrs. R. N. Ewens, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Adrian and daughter, Mary Kay, and son, Jack, Mrs. Clarence Rausch, Archie Adrians, J. Adrians, Mrs. Alice Adrians, Mrs. Frank Fisher, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Flanagan, Fond du Lac: Mrs. Kenneth Bailey and Jack Newhouse, Sault St. Marie, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Moore, Marshfield: Mrs. Wes Saecker,Menasha; Mrs. Pearl Russell and son, Jack, Hartford; Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Gehrin, St. Lawrence; the Rev. Joseph Van Boogart., Michicott.
