  Baumann, Robert J.Robert J. Baumann, age 50, of Appleton, died unexpectedly, due to complica tions of diabetes, Saturday evening, March 18, 2006. He was born July 1 8, 1955, to Robert W. and Jane M. (Stein) Baumann, in Appleton, where he w as a resident all of his life. Bob graduated from St. John High School, Li ttle Chute, in 1973 and then attended the University of Wisconsin-La Cros se and graduated from Fox Valley Technical College with an associate's deg ree in accounting. He had been employed by Art Faire for ten years and th en by Arcways for 20 years. Bob enjoyed sports, especially fishing and gol f. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.Bob is survived by his mother, Jane M. Baumann; four sisters and a brothe r: Beckie (Dick) Hawker, Anne (Ben) Kolasinski, Barb (Steve) Dreissen, P at (Bill) Wildenberg, Dan (Heidi) Baumann; a brother-in-law, Bill Ayken s; 15 nieces and nephews; 12 great-nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father, Robert W. Baumann, his sister, Jean A. Aykens, and two nephews: David Aykens and Mark Kolasinski.The funeral liturgy for Robert will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2 006, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1810 North McDonald Street, wi th Father Gerald R. Falk officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemeter y. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and on F riday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass. There wi ll be a parish prayer and scripture service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. A memor ial fund is being established.The family extends a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and sta ff of Appleton Medical Center, ICU, for their kindness and special care a nd to all family and friends who have extended their prayer and support.
