This bran ch of the family lived in OK and our branch moved to CA. Both sets of par ents are deceased, as is Windell. Would love to make contact with the fam ily. His d ad was Ernst Leroy Meier, b. 1900, Sayre, Beckham Co., OK and his mom w as Daisy Winans. There is info. online about her family too, although I o nly knew Aunt Daisy. I am gathering some info. on my Meier side and ha ve a little bit collected so far. Interesting that her family was from Ge rmany - pretty obvious ours was from our surname. Ernst's parents were He inrich/Henry Meier, b. 1875, Belleville, St. Clair Co., IL (I have litt le on him) and his mom was Ada Bertha Pilgrim, d/o Robert Scott Pilgr im b. 1854, Atlanta, DeKalb Co., GA and Georgia Ann Lawson, b. AR. R.S. 's father was Robert Lawrence Pilgrim, s/o Elijah Marion Pilgrim (there we re 2 with same name/generation, so confusing.). (Ezekial, Thomas, Amos, Am os, Amos, George in Eng.)
