  Alice Vils, of Little Chute, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2007, at a local nursing home. She was born August 8, 1916, in Kaukauna, daughter of the late August and Elizabeth (Nushart) Vils. As a young woman, Alice was employed for a time by the Badger Tissue Mill and Kaukauna Klub Cheese. She was also a member of the Kaukauna Golden Agers Club. Alice is survived by her siblings: Rose Voigt of Appleton; Grace Jansen of Little Chute; Marie (Jerome) Truyman of Kaukauna; Richard Vils of Chippewa Falls; a sister-in-law: Stella Vils of Kaukauna; a good friend Beverly School, and many nieces, nephews, and their children whom she loved very much. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Frank Vils and Joseph Vils, a sister Blanche Hansen, brothers-in-law: Lawrence Voigt, Vincent Jansen and Clarence Hansen; a sister-in-law Donna Vils, and a nephew John (Carol) Hansen. A prayer service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2007, at the Fargo Funeral Home in Kaukauna, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Kaukauna. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
