  Floyd Kirk, 90, Little Chute, formerly of Kimberly, passed away Friday, March 9, 2012 at Parkside Care Center. Floyd was born March 20, 1921 in Appleton to the late Charles and Ida (Sternagel) Kirk. He married Sylvia Seefeld on May 18, 1946 at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London. Floyd worked at Kimberly Clark for 41 years until his retirement in 1983. He started the Kimberly Chapter of the Lutheran Boy Pioneers and was active with them for many years. He also was a great carpenter and loved to fish, hunt, bowl and play baseball in his earlier years. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Sylvia of 65 years; children: Jean (William) Ghera, McHenry, IL; George (Sue) Kirk, Duluth, MN and John Kirk, FL; six grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ann Kirk and a special neighbor, Betty. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents and ten siblings. Funeral services for Floyd will be held at 12:00 pm (Noon) Monday, March 12, 2012 at St. Luke Ev. Lutheran Church, Little Chute with Rev. Ronald Szep officiating. Friends may visit the family at church from 10:00 am until the time of services Monday at church. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. A memorial fund is being established. The family would like to thank the staff of Parkside for their thoughtful care and concern shown to Floyd and his family.
