  Mrs. Anna Welsch, 105 E. Mill street, who was a native of Dodge County and who had resided in this city for the past half century, died at St. Joseph hospital at 2:50 o'clock yesterday morning. She was eighty years of age and had been in failing health for the past several weeks. The funeral services will be held at St. Peter church at ten o'clock Saturday morning. The high mass will be celebrated by her four nephews, Rev. Gerhard Budde of Clyman, Rev. George Budde of West Allis, Rev. John Budde of Hartford and Rev. Raymond Budde of Milwaukee. Interment will be in St. Peter cemetery. Anna Weix was the daughter of Lawrence and Anna Bachuber Weix and was born at LeRoy on January 25th, 1864. She was married to John Welsch in the fall of 1884, he preceding her in death on November 6th, 1916. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Peter church, the Catholic Knights and the Catholic Foresters. She was preceded in death by her husband and is survived by the following children: Timothy J. Welsch; Mrs. Hildegarde Parker and Miss Hattie Welsch of this city; Mrs. Helen Josten of Milwaukee; Mrs. Kathleen Ostrow of Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Anna Piszczek and Dr. John Welsch of this city. Eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, four brothers and one sister also survive: Michael Weix, Lawrence and John Weix of Colby, Wis., Xavier Weix of Oconomowoc, and Mrs. John Budde of the town of Beaver Dam. One son, Alphonse, preceded his mother in death. Friends may call at the fuenral home after seven o'clock this evening. OBITUARY: Beaver Dam Argus, Thursday, January 20, 1944, page 4.
