  Trauba, Leona T. (Reimer) Leona T. (Reimer) Trauba, Greenville, age 92, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2007, at Carolina Manor in Appleton following a short illness. Leona was born on September 7, 1914, in Maplewood, WI, daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Zipperer) Reimer. On August 10, 1946, Leona married Gerald Trauba at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville. They enjoyed 53 years of marriage together until his death in 1999. Leona was a lifelong resident of Greenville and a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville and also a member of Christian Women. Leona was a devoted wife and mother, and has delighted in her grandchildren. She especially loved fishing with her husband Gerry. She was also an avid gardener. Leona is survived by a daughter, Donna (John) Sandbo, Tigard, OR; a son, Rev. William Trauba O.F.M. Cap, Monterrey, MX; a sister, Margaret (Louis) Rudloff, Greenville; two grandchildren, Bill and Charlie Sandbo; and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides her parents and husband, Leona was preceded in death by sisters: Frances, Mary, Eleanor, and Helen; brothers: Harold, Erwin, Clarence and Leonard. Mass of Resurrection for Leona will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville with Fr. Mark Vander Steeg concelebrating with Fr. Bill Trauba. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
