  age 72, Freedom, died late Tuesday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E.K. Ring, 309 Sixth Street, Kaukauna, after a month's illness. He lived with his daughter for the last three months. Born in Freedom, he operated a farm near that village, retiring 14 years ago. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. John Otto, Appleton; Mrs. Ray Wichman, Freedom; and Mrs. Ring, Kaukauna; two sons, Ralph, Black Creek; Oliver, Freedom; two brothers Harvey and John, Appleton; one sister Mrs. Stewart, River Rouge, Mich., 23 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Friday afternoon at the Ray Wichman home in Freedom and 2 o'clock at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church, Freedom, with burial at Freedom. The body may be viewed at the Greenwood Funeral home after 7 o'clock tonight and at the Ray Wichman home in Freedom after 7 o;clock Thursday night.
