  Melvin Hildebrandt, age 93, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2007, in Evansville, IN, where he resided since 1945. He was born to Adolph and Alma Hildebrandt on April 24, 1913, in Kaukauna, where was he Baptized and Confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church. He also attended Kaukauna High School. He was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran of World War II serving in Pacific Theatre. After his medical discharge in 1944, he spent most of his lifelong career in sales in Evansville, where he was married to Adeline Wurdinger. He is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Curly (Evelyn) Taylor, Mrs. Jack (Lucille) Licht, and Mrs. Rick (Grace) Steinway; as well as many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a sister, Mrs. August (Irma) Sasnowski. A service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Kaukauna, Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 10:30 a.m.
