Appleton Post Crescent
Age 82, passed away unexpectedly at 8 am Monday. He was born May 11, 1884 in Darboy and had been a resident of the Town of Menasha prior to moving to Maribel, Wis. in 1938, and had been a resident of Denmark since his retirement in 1952. He was a member of the Holy Name Society at All Saints Catholic Church, Den- mark. Mr. Van Groll is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Catherine) Koller. Elm Grove, Wis.: Mrs. Howard (Marie) Drajeske, Neenah: five sons, John E., Appleton. Gerald, Den- mark, Eugene, Green Bay, Jo- seph and Robert, both of Mari- bel: one sister, Mrs. Fred Haase, Appleton: three broth- ers. Joseph. Darboy, Frank, Appleton, Anthony, Miami, Fla.; 24 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. His wife, Mabel preceded him in death in 1958. Funeral services will be held at lO:30 a.m. Thursday at All Saints Catholic Church, Den- mark. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call at the DeWayne Funeral Home, Denmark after 7 p.m., Tuesday. Rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednes- day at the funeral home.
