  Henry E. Depies, age 93, of Chilton, died on Sunday, March 25, 2007, at the Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. He was born December 23, 1913, in Chilton, son of the late Henry and Margaret (Petsch) Depies. At the age of 1, Henry was moved to New Holstein where he lived and farmed with his father, later in his life. He married Hildegard M. Gruber on October 28, 1939, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton. He moved to the Chilton area where he and his wife farmed from 1945 until 1979, when he retired and moved to the City of Chilton. Henry then worked for Foley and the Chilton Metal Products. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, formerly St. Mary Parish, and the National Farmer's Organization. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Hilde; five sons and two daughters: Alan (Betty) Depies of St. Cloud, Dale (Mary) Depies of Chilton, Richard (Catherine) Depies of Appleton, Linda (Michael) Bruckner of Chilton, Mark (Natalie) Depies of Fond du Lac, Don (Sue) Depies of New Holstein, Beverly McCasky of Arizona; 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2007, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, with the Rev. Bob Kollath officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton, from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, and on Thursday, at the funeral home, from 9:30-11 a.m. when family prayers will be held. A parish vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
