  Petit, Edward L. Edward L. Petit, of Manawa, age 53, died unexpectedly as the result of an automobile accident on Thursday, December 14, 2006. Edward was born on September 5, 1953, in New London, son of Glen and Ann (Rohan) Petit. He currently worked at SCP Pallet Company, before working there Ed was employed at Trade Winds in Manawa for 12 years. He served his country in the U.S. Navy Reserves. Ed is survived by his mother Ann, New London; three brothers: David Petit, Appleton; Frank (Sandy) Petit, Kaukauna; Alvin (Agnes) Petit, Manawa; and a sister, Marge Petit, New London; nieces and nephews: Hope Brandt, New London; Steven Giesen, Stevens Point; Leslie Petit, Kaukauna; Kari (Jeremy) Griesbach, Clarksville, TN; and Ashley Petit, Kaukauna. He is preceded in death by his father Glen and a sister Mary O'Howell. Funeral services for Ed will be held on Monday, December 18, 2006, at 11 a.m., at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London, with Rev. Bill Bartel officiating. Burial will be in the Most Precious Blood Cemetery in New London. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, December 17, 2006, from 4-8 p.m., and on Monday, from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established.
