  Bacheller, Laurence F. Laurence F. Bacheller, of New London formerly of Bear Creek, age 97, pass ed away on Monday, August 7, 2006, at the home at which he grew up, in Be ar Creek. Laurence was born on January 15, 1909, son of the late Frank a nd Charlotte (Rand) Bacheller. He was united in marriage to Victoria Wrig ht on June 14, 1947. He attended Coffee Bridge School and went to UW-Madis on for an Agriculture short course. Laurence farmed his entire life and en joyed cutting wood, gardening, fishing and making maple syrup. He is survived by his wife Victoria; his children: Mary (Bob) Tuma, Boscob el; Janet (Jeff) Wenner, Bear Creek; a daughter-in-law, Bonnie (Fenske) Ba cheller, Neenah; his grandchildren: Bryan Bacheller, Tampa, Florida; Chris topher Wenner, Bear Creek; Nicole Wenner, Bear Creek; Billy Wenner, Bear C reek; Kristy Tuma, La Crosse; Karla Tuma, Boscobel; great-grandchildren, M adison and Brienna Bacheller, Tampa, Florida; in-laws: Norman (Ruth) Wrigh t, Neenah; Kenny (Lorraine) Wright, Indiana. He is further survived by ma ny nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings: Lester, Charlie, Co ra (Hiram) Meyer, and Irving; a son Bill; and also numerous brothers-in-l aw and sisters-in-law. Funeral services for Laurence will be held on Friday, August 11, 200 6, at 11 a.m. at United Methodist Church in New London with Rev. Lucret ia Fehrmann officiating.
