  Contrary to what everyone says is the death place of John Mathias West in Kaukauna, Outagamie County, WI, that is incorrect. I was the one who provided the marriage information for John West and spouse Julia E. Wood, as well as her parents and place of birth, as well as the birth places of their children. I thought I was doing Paul a favor. There is no Outagamie County Death Record for John Mathias West and I told Paul that a long time ago. He probably died in Madison, Dane County, WI., as that is where he and his family were living in 1930. He is buried at St. Mary Cemetery in Kaukauna, but he did not die in Outagamie County. He was a lock tender for but 4 years, and after that he was a clothing salesman. I also was the one who informed Paul where John D. West, son of John Mathias and Julia E. Wood died, and it was in Madison, Dane County, WI. At this point, it is not proven where he died.
