  Robert "Bob" Last, Jr, of Appleton, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013, after a long illness, at the age of 58. He was born June 30, 1954, in Appleton, son of the late Robert Sr. and Genevieve Last. Bob was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry. He has no surviving relatives. Bob graduated from Xavier High School in Appleton, class of 1972, and held several positions with local companies in the Fox Valley after graduation. His last place of employment before his illness was as an auto salesman for the Bergstrom Automotive company in Appleton, Wisconsin. Bob's most cherished times included boating, cooking and camping, and he was an avid Packer fan all his life. He had a deep affection for his loyal pets: Askum, Buddyweiser and Macey. Bob will be long remembered by his friends for his remarkable story telling and his ability to share his experiences with those that touched his life. Bob's cremated remains will be spread at the Memory Garden at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Appleton. A very special thank you to the Matthew's House in Darboy where Bob spent his last days, especially Kim, also to Theda Care Hospice (Erin, Jordan and Jill), for the special care they gave Bob, and to his friend John, who was always there to take him shopping every Friday. Thanks also to his longtime friends: Jill, Haley and Ashley, who were at his side at his passing, for all of this, we will all be grateful. He will be missed by all.
