  Mary Helen Hurkman Appleton Age 77, died peacefully on Monday, April 16, 2001, at the Outagamie County Health Center, Appleton. She was born May 29, 1923, to the late Stephen and Magadaline Andrews. Survivors include her son, Steven (Mary Kay) Hurkman, Seymour, and a granddaughter, Katherine (Robert) Weix, Spread Eagle, Wisconsin; a brother and two sisters-in-law, George (Audrey) Andrews, Crandon; and Mabel Andrews, Kaukauna; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Julia Grey, Illinois; and Helen (Melvin) Brockman, Crandon. She was preceded in death by brothers James, Steven, Andrew, and Joseph; and sisters Grace Henry, Veronica Kotnak, Elizabeth Bauer and Catherine Turk. A private service will be held at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Thursday, April 19, 2001.
