  Anthony N. Eckes, Menasha, age 86, died Friday, August 22, 2003 at Century Oaks in Menasha. He was born in Sherwood on March 13, 1917 to the late Nicholas and Rose Horn Eckes. Tony worked for over 40 years at Kimberly Clark, Kimberly Plant. He will be sadly missed by his children: Carole Eckes, Appleton; Rosemary Dennis Draska, Menominee, Michigan; Russell Eckes, Halifax, Virginia; sisters: Lorraine Wendell Warnke, Helen Welsch and Dolores Don DuChateau, all of Appleton; grandchildren: Jamie Youngs, Frank, Stephanie Eckes and Angela Eckes; other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret in 1984; son, Anthony "Butch" Eckes, daughter-in- law, Helen Eckes; sisters: Marie Cletus Lenz, Florence Oskey; and brother-in-law, Hank Welsch. According to Tony's wishes private family services will be held. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a memorial has been established. The family would like to thank the staff at Century Oaks in Menasha, especially Dena and Debbie and Heartland Hospice, especially Bill. Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N.
