  Dennis F. Socha, 62 of Appleton, died Monday February 4, 2013, at his residence. He was born in Green Bay, May 3, 1950, son of the late, Peter and Dorothy (Botzet) Socha. Dennis married Virginia "Ginger" Baker on July 8, 1972. Dennis worked for Waste Management for 30 years, retiring November 2005. He was an avid Chicago Bear fan. Dennis enjoyed spending time going out to eat with his good friends. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with family, especially all of his grandchildren. Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Ginger; his two daughters, Patricia (Craig) Eggleston, Appleton, and Heather Petrie, Appleton; seven grandchildren, Douglas, Alexander, Sydney, Kaelene, Lacey, Genevieve, and Nyka; three sisters, JoAnn Behling, Combined Locks, Rosemary Kempen, Kaukauna, and Debra (David) Tennie, Kaukauna; three brothers, Alvin (Marilyn), Seymour, Peter Jr.(Helen), Appleton, and David (Paula), Kingsport, TN; a sister-in-law, Barbara Socha, Seymour; Dennis is further survived by Gingers brother, and five sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Edward (Shirley), and Joseph; sister and brother-in-law, Alice (Leonard) Colling; and a brother-in-law, Cyril Behling. Funeral service will be 11:00AM on Friday February 8, 2013, at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, with Rev Lisa Ubbelohde officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday February 7, at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until 8:00PM, and again on Friday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Dennis' family. Published in Appleton Post-Crescent on February 6, 2013
