  See Image Walter Summers, age 82, di ed Wednesday, July 22nd, 1987 as a result of cancer, after a four month il lness. He was born January 19th, 1905 in Askeaton, the son of the late Ed ward and Gertrude (Van Denzen) Summers. He and his wife had farmed in Ask eaton until 1953, when they moved into Kaukauna. He had been employ ed at Thilmany Pulp and Paper and at the Kaukauna Public Library until h is second retirement. He was a member of the St. Mary's Parish, Kaukaun a; The Golden Agers; and St. Vincent de Paul Society. Survivors include s ix daughters and sons in law: Mary Ann and Roy VandeYacht, Patricia and Jo seph VanLinn, Pauline and Maynard Krueger, Judy and Robert Wurdinger, a ll of Kaukauna; Phyllis and Patrick Stumpf; Delores and Robert Besaw, Neen ah; a son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Bonnie Summers, Hollandtown; t wo sisters: Mrs. Clair Dykes, of Kaukauna; Mrs. Agnes Vanderputten of Gre en Bay; a sister in law, Mrs. Tom (Viola) Farrell, Green Bay; 29 grandchil dren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, E sther, a sister Genevieve Golden, and three grandchildren. The funeral wi ll be at 6:30 p.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with t he Reverend Don Fuller and the Rev. Norbert Vandeloo officiating. Internment will be in parish cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
