  Mathias J. Jost Mathias J. Jost, 79, of 640 Grand St., died Monday at 12.45 p.m. at his home. He was born in Hilbert on Jan. 8, 1887, and was married in St. Waldberg, Saskatchewan, Canada, on Feb. 17, 1914, to Josephine Kirchmeier. A retired fanner from Unity, Wis., Mr. Jost had lived in Oshkosh the past 13 years. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society. Surviving are his wife, Josephine: four sons, Joseph. Jost, Fond du Lac, Leon Jost, Unity, Mathias Jost, Oshkosh, and Boyd Jost, Neenah: three daughters, Mrs. Gust Mielke, Fond du Lac, Mrs. John Nelson and- Mrs. Harold VandenBerg, Neenah; six brothers. John Jost, Appleton. Joseph and Peter Jost, in Florida, George Jost. Hilbert, Francis Jost. Menasha, and Andrew Jost, Stratford, one sister, Mrs. Lena Schweitzer, Chilton: 26 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at Fiss & Bills Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Francis D. Rose officiating. Burial will be in St. Margaret Mary Cemetery, Neenah. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. The rosary will be recited Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Daily Northwestern Page 26 Tues., Nov. 8, 1966
