Dorothy Marks, age 91, of New London, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2008, at Weyauwega Health Care Center. Dorothy was born on January 4, 1917, in Almond, WI, daughter of the late George and Mathilda (Smith) Warning. On September 24, 1949, she was united in marriage to Clarence "Sonny" Marks. He preceded her in death in 1992. She lived in New London most of her life and was employed at Markman's Grocery for many years. Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Patricia (Joseph) Sliwinski, Florida; and Donna Kish, Buffalo, NY; a son, Gerald (Gail) Taylor, San Diego, CA; also seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Richard Taylor, a grandson Donald Kish, two sisters, Evelyn Volz and Irene Miediam, and a brother, George Warning. Funeral services for Dorothy will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2008, at 5:30 p.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London with Rev. Bil Sutlief officiating. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:30 p.m. until the time of service.
