  Geneva G. Tesch, age 84, of Black Creek, passed away Monday, December 29, 2008, at her home. She was born December 13, 1924, to the late John and Frances (Andrews) Duhm in Black Creek. On September 6, 1947, she was united in marriage to Jack Tesch in Black Creek, he preceded her in death on February 8, 1983. Geneva was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Black Creek. In 1942 she was named Outstanding 4-H Girl in the nation and was a leader for many years. She enjoyed knitting and was a member of the National Knitting Guild, the Apple Knitters in Appleton and the Duhm-Masch Unit Post 332 of the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include her children: Betty Tesch, Black Creek; Barbara (Ching) Wang, Houston, TX; Bill Tesch, Black Creek; grandchildren: Andrew, Amy and Anna; a brother Roy (Ethel) Duhm, Appleton; sister-in-law, Alice Duhm, Black Creek; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Bob; one sister, Victoria Daelke and one brother, Vernon. Friends may call at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Black Creek on Friday, January 2, 2009, from 10 a.m. until funeral services at noon with Pastor Steve Schlicht and Paster John Brandt officiating.
