  Jacob Hahn, Nichols Banker,Dies Sunday Active Civic Leader Started Career in Seymour in 1907 NICHOLS - Jacob Hahn, 80, president of the Nichols State Bank and one of its founders, died Sunday afternoon at the Shawano Community Hospital. Hahn began his banking career as an assistant cashier at the First National Bank in Seymour from 1907-19. He was born in Seymour March 13, 1886. In 1919 he moved to Nichols and started the bank. He served as its cashier until 1960 when he was appointed executive vice president. In June he was named president. Since 1936 Hahn served as secretary-treasurer of the Nichols Co-Operative and was honored at last year's 50th annual meeting for his long years of service. Town Clerk For 25 years he was secretary treasurer of the Outagamie County Bankers Association and also was clerk for the Town of Cicero for 25 years. Survivors are a son, a daughter, two grandchildren and a sister. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Trinity United Church of Christ, Nichols, where he was a member. Rev. Donald Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
