  FORMER NATIVE OF WHITELAW DIES AT APPLETON Burial of Mrs. Simeon Geiger, 76, former Whitelaw resident, who passed away last week at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Bruehl at Appleton, took place on Monday at Brillion and later from the Holy Trinity church at Kasson. Six nephews of the deceased acted as pallbearers. Mrs. Geiger was born in Germany in June, 1854. At the age of nine years she came to this country with her parents, who settled at Whitelaw. In 1873 she was united in marriage to Simeon Geiger, who preceded her in death nine years ago. She made her home on a farm in Calumet county until three years ago when she left for Appleton to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Henry Bruehl. Nine children survive, five sons, Andrew Geiger of Neenah, John of Chippewa Falls, Daniel, Robert and Peter Geiger of Brillion, and four daughters, Mrs. Henry Bruehl of Appleton, Mrs. Chas. Geise, of Brillion; Mrs. Tom Brantmeyer of Menasha, and Mrs. Richard Vogel of Newton. There are also 42 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
