  Helen E. Guyette, (nee Pelky) 88, of Appleton, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2009, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Helen was born on June 2, 1921, to the late Charles and Eva (Leanna) Pelky in Deer Creek. She had worked at St. Elizabeth's for 10 years. Helen was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Ladies of St. Joseph and the Moose Lodge. She also enjoyed reading, traveling and fishing. Helen is survived by six children; Shirley Willems. Appleton; Donald (Elonda) Hammond, Appleton; Roger Hammond, Stevensville; Ed (Jane) Hammond, Appleton; Dave (Jean) Hammond, Appleton; Clark (Betty) Hammond, Greenville; 23 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Helen was preceded in death by her husbands: Clark Hammond and Russell Guyette; her daughters: Joan Ritschke and Betty Luedtke, her nine brothers and four sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on July 2, 2009, at 11 a.m. at ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 W. Lawrence St., Appleton, with Father Larry Abler officiating. Friends may call on July 2, 2009, from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
