  Beverly Jane Wery, 81, Wausaukee, died Friday, Sept. 4, 2009, at her residence. Born in Green Bay, on March 23, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Margaret (Maes) Diedrick. On June 5, 1948, she married Marvin Wery in Green Bay. He preceded her in death on Dec. 3, 2003. Bev was employed for about 10 years at the former H.C. Prange Company. In 1973, she and her husband Marv moved to Wausaukee from Green Bay where they owned and operated the Wausaukee Bowl until 1984. Bev was an avid supporter of the Wausaukee Rescue Squad for many years and was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. She is survived by six children, Randy (Phyllis) of Bellevue, Rick (Bernice) of Canby, OR, Steve (Marcia) of Marinette, Peggy (Chuck) Salayi of Supply, N.C., Kathy Vaynkof of Steam Boat Springs, Colo., and Karen Wery of Milwaukee, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, seven step grandchildren and nine step great grandchildren, and one brother: Ronald (Joan) Diedrick, Kaukauna. Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 8, at Messar Funeral Home in Wausaukee from 5 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. and on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Wausaukee, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass at 11 a.m. Fr. John Hephner officiating. Entombment will be in the Fort Howard Mausoleum in Green Bay.
