  William "Bill' Brinkman, age 89, FT. Myers, FL and formerly Appleton WI, died Thursday, August 14, 2014, at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Keith Schnebel, Summerville, S.C. Bill is survived by his wife of 69 years, Florence (Schabo) Brinkman, children, Ron and Jean Brinkman, Judy and Keith Schnebel, four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Bill was an avid sports fan. He participated in the Kimberly Softball program and ushered for 20 years for the Minnesota Twins preseason games in Ft. Myers. He was a veteran and a member of the American Legion. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday August 27, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2330 E. Calumet St. Appleton. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Published in Appleton Post-Crescent on Aug. 24, 2014
