  Dorothy A. Bull, 88, Manitowoc, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc. Dorothy was born Feb. 18, 1916, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Emil and Dora Wagner Jirikowic. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated with the Class of 1933 from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc. On July 6, 1939, Dorothy married Karl F. Bull in Chicago, Ill. He preceded her in death on May 20, 1993. Dorothy was a lifelong member of First Reformed United Church of Christ and the Women's Guild. Dorothy was employed at the National Tinsel Factory for many years, until her retirement. She loved the Chicago Cubs, Green Bay Packers, sharing her cross-stitch tablecloths and other craft items with family and friends, but most of all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Karl K. and Nancy Bull, Appleton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and David Siewert, De Pere, and Kathy and Mike Goetsch, Cleveland; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Blaine) Schmidt, Charlotte, N.C., Michael Bull, Appleton, and Christopher Siewert, Green Bay; two great-grandchildren, Jacob Bull, Appleton, and Victoria Schmidt, Charlotte, N.C.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Elvi (Norbert) Huebner and Betty Jane Neff, all of Manitowoc; two sister-in-laws, Grace Jirikowic and Ethel Sieker, both of Manitowoc; other relatives and friends also survive. Besides her parents and husband, Karl, Dorothy was preceded in death by one son, Richard Bull; four brothers, Reinhardt (Punchy), Ellsworth (Buddy), Louis and Edward Jirikowic; four sisters, Ruth, June, Louise (Tootsie) Jirikowic and Grace Brockhausen. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at First Reformed United Church of Christ, 3616 Waldo Blvd., Manitowoc. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005, at First Reformed United Church of Christ, 3616 Waldo Blvd., Manitowoc. Rev. Richard Runge will officiate. Cremation will have taken place and burial of her remains will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
