  Old Stage Driver Passes Away. Peter Pennings, aged 84, passed away Saturday morning after a week's illness; death was due to ailments incidental to age. For the past seven years he has made his home with his nephew William Scray, of the town of glenmore. Coming from Holland with his parents when only six years old, their first home wa a log cabin located on the present site of the Beaumont hotel, Green Bay. For a number of yeears Mr. Pennings drove state and carried mail between Greeen Bay and Shawano and later between Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay and Green Bay and Manitowoc. The roads he traveled were only trails through the forest. mr pennings had never been married. His surviving relatives are seven nieces and ten nephews. The funeral was held from St Mary's church, Rev. Father peters officiating, internment was at Mt. Olivet cemetery. The pallbearers were great-nephews John Van Deurzen, William Scray Jr., Norbert Scray, Frank Scray, Nels Scray and Leo Scray.
