  Knoespel, Allen 230 Grand St. Brillion Age 82, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 29, 2001 at his home. He was born March 16, 1919 in Forest Junction, son of the late William and Minnie (Hacker) Knoespel. He married Doris Halle on April 14, 1945 in Fond du Lac. Allen farmed on the family farm raising Arsyshir Cattle and was very proud of them. He then worked as a carpenter until his retirement. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Forest Junction. Allen is survived by his wife Doris; a son Robert of Idaho Falls, Idaho; two sisters, Florence Stevenson of Appleton and Gladys Oskey of Maryland; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Roy and Lois of Brillion and Dwane and Esther of Menasha, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Craig; four brothers, Willard, Herbert, Clarence and Harold; two sisters, Hattie and Mabel. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2001 at Zion United Methodist Church in Forest Junction with the Rev. Warren Waddell officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. The Wieting Funeral Home of Brillion assisted the family.
