  Mrs. Anton Wiegand died at her home Monday night at the age of 79 years. She was a kind neighbor and a faithful church member, always attending services until the last week of her life. She was broken hearted when her son, Joseph, with whom she made her home, died a month ago and his death hastened hers. She was sick only a few days. She leaves to mourn her death three daughters, Mrs. John McMorrow of Kaukauna, Mrs. Annis of Milwaukee Mrs. Chas. Grode of this place, one son Peter Wiegand of Kaukauna and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Jos. Wiegand, with whom she lived. She was a member of the Alter Society for many years and all the members attended the funeral and escorted the remains to their last resting place beside her husband and son. Many relatives and friends attended the services with her held Thursday at Holy Angels church. Chilton Times - January 8, 1910
