  Mrs. Hephner Of Town Of Rantoul Dies On Tuesday Chilton. - Mrs. John Hephner, nee Ellen McGrath, .died at St Elizabeth's hospital Tuesday at 11 p. m. where she had been a patient for the past week. She had been in failing health for the past five years's. Born in the town of Rantoul, Calumet county, on May 2, 1860, the daughter of the late Mr., and Mrs. James McGrath, she was married to John Hephner at St. Augustine's church on Nov. 14, 1883. Her husband passed away in July, 1928. Mr. and Mrs. Hephner resided in the town .of Charlestown for a number of years and moved to Chilton 40 years ago, She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Augustine's church. Survivors are a sister, Miss Katherine McGrath of Chilton; a brother P. H. McGrath of St. Paul, Minn,; a foster-son Chester Hephner of Los Angeles, Cal. The body will lie in state at the Pfeffer Funeral home from this evening until the time of the services on Friday at 9 a, m, at the funeral home and at 9:30 a, m. at St. Augustine's church, The Rev. John J. Murphy will officiate and burial will take place in the church cemetery. Members of the Christian Mothers Society will attend the services in a body.
