  Howard Joseph Lynch Jr., 82, of Pine Island, FL and Palatine, IL, died January 1, 2011. Beloved husband of Josephine (Hilda). Loving father of Amy (Jim) Marvel, Jane (Ken) DeVoe, Sarah Johnson, Susan (Ken) Hutman, Margaret (Jim Courtney) Lynch, and Jennifer (Brant) Yeager.Proud grandfather of Bryan, Erin (Rachel), Ryan, Colin, Autumn, Amy, Nicole, Michael, Kristin (Ryan), Brandon (Ashley), Trista, Jacob, Joseph, Daniel, Kalen, Haley, Addison, Tyler, and Makenna. Proud great grandfather of Brianna, Ayden, Quinn, Uriah, Darren and Jordynn. Son of the late Howard Sr. and Marie Lynch. Brother of the late Jim and Jack Lynch, Dolores Wallace, and Patricia Tziolas. Brother in law of the late Betty Koehn, Helen, Beverly, and Bernice Lynch and Constantine Tziolas. Further survived by brother Robert (Mary) Lynch, brother in law Clarence Wallace, sister in law Pat (Bob) Sell, and best childhood friend Hank Vermeern. Funeral services, Saturday, January 22, 2011, 10 a.m. at St Thomas of Villanova Church 1201 E. Anderson Dr., Palatine, IL 60074. Visitation at the Church from 9 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials to the NAMI Wisconsin, Inc. 4233 W. Beltline Highway, Madison, WI 53771. www.namiwisconsin.org . Howard served proudly in WWII. His professional career in the paper and plastics industrywas a source of pride for him and his family. Most importantly, Howard's love for Hilda and his family defined him as a gentle, loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. His exuberance for life and contagious spirit touched all who came in contact with him. He will be dearly missed by many but remains a part of all of us in our hearts and memories.
