  John W. Van Drunen, Kimberly, age 88, died on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at St. Paul Elder Services in Kaukauna after a lengthy illness. He was born May 31, 1926 at home in Kimberly, son of the late Adrian and Jennie (Stuyvenberg) Van Drunen. John retired from Kimberly Clark Corporation. He was an US Army Veteran and a member of the William Verhagen Post 60 of the American Legion, Kimberly. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Van Drunen (nee) Hearden, who resides at the St. Paul Home; his son and daughter-in-law, John R. (Kathy), Kaukauna; two grandsons: Matthew (Samantha) and great-granddaughter, Vivian of Hawthorn Woods, IL, and Luke of Chicago, IL; a sister, Geraldine "Geri" Van Drunen; a brother, Richard "Rick" Van Drunen; sister-in-law, Delores Van Drunen; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Vincent. A private family service will be held at the St. Paul Elder Services Chapel. No flowers please, a memorial fund for the St. Paul Elder Services and hospice has been established in John's name. The family has chosen Boettcher Family Funeral Home to assist them. The family would like to especially thank the staff at St. Paul Elder Services, St. Paul Hospice and the volunteers of their programs for their support and love during John's final journey.
