  Roseland "Rosie" M. Fulcer, age 78, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Cherry Meadows, Appleton. She was born on August 13, 1932, in Appleton; daughter of the late Frank and Julia (Young) Schabo, Sr. On May 5, 1952, she was married to Thomas C. Fulcer in Waukegan, IL. Thomas preceded her in death on September 16, 1998. Rosie had a deep love for her family especially her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo, ice skating and watching the Packers and the Badgers, most of all her children's and grandchildren's school sports. She will be deeply missed by her children: Richard "Rick" (Wendy) Fulcer, Combined Locks; Susan Rose, Arlington, TX; Dennis (Carla) Fulcer, Appleton; Jeff (Connie) Fulcer, Black Creek; grandchildren: Marcus (Angie) Fulcer, Katie (Andy) Joosten, Brooks (Stephanie) Rose, Austin Rose, Andy (Melissa) Fulcer, Erin (Tim) Zernzach, Sam Fulcer and Clayton Fulcer; great-grandchildren: Jada Smith, Brady Fulcer, Kinnley Fulcer and Cadence and Elliott Zernzach; brothers: Willard (Jan) Schabo and Herbert Schabo; sister, Margaret (Bob) Sager and by her special friend, Harlan "Shorty" Gillett. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas; son-in-law, Bobby Rose; brother, Frank Schabo, Jr. and her sister, LaVerne Schabo. A funeral service for Rosie will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home, Appleton with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 11 - 1 p.m. Burial will take place on Monday at 10 a.m. at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. A memorial fund is being established in her name. The family would like to thank Drs. Vogel, Jacobe, Chatha, Steinhoff, the staffs at Cherry Meadows, Hospice, 5th floor at AMC and Dr. Hornseth and Dr. Curless and their staff and to all her friends at John Fischer Manor.
