Clark born August 1886 Greenleaf Brown Cty. WI My Grandfather is Charles L. Clark born Nv. 25, 1890 Greenleaf, Brown Cty. WI. His mother is unknown, can't find birth certificate for him. Presume that John Clark is his father. One of the Clark's married into the Ellis family of the Greenleaf area. Also a Solomon name is listed as a son in law of Julia Warfield who lived with them in the 1910 census along with her daughter Emma. It looks as if the head of household is Charles Solomon, wife Hattie, and son Clayton born in 1907. Any help anyone can give me to put this all together would be greatly appreciated. We have visited all of the cemetery locations in the Greenleaf, Wrightstown area and have found nothing. Brown county has no birth certificate for my Grandfather and we are having trouble getting the association together. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Charles O. Clark served in the Civil War in the 19th Wis. Volunteer Infantry along with his father Samuel D. Clark. Both Charles and Samuel fought in Virginia. Both enlisted together in 1862 from Cato, Wisconsin and were mustered out in August 1865. Charles and father are buried in military graves same row, one headstone apart in Clark's Mills Associated Cemetery, Cato Township, Manitowoc,WI. Julia Warfield Clark applied for Veteran Pention in 1890 for disabled and death in 1891. Julia remained in Brown County and is buried in Greenleaf/Wrightstown Cemetery, Brown County, WI Julia died after 1920. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Military: enlisted 2/13/1862 Cato Township, Manitowoc Co., WI, in 19th Wis.
