  Paul U. Strebe, of the Town of Menasha, age 73, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. He was born February 10, 1938 in Menasha, son of the late Gordon and Sophie (Kilischek) Strebe. Paul served in the US Army as a Military Police Officer. It was there that he met Barbara Christian and they were married on November 22, 1956. She preceded him in death on August 20, 2009. Paul retired from Gilbert Paper Co. after 42 years of employment. Survivors include his five children: Diane (Randy) Marks, Tom (Rhonda) Strebe, Jim (Irma) Strebe, Paul (Marsha) Strebe, Linda (Jeremy) Johnson; 19 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two brothers: John Strebe, Hillard Strebe; and a sister, Margaret (Dick) Hoffensperger. Paul was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Krause; two brothers: Gordon and Norman; and a sister, Ethel Harrell. Paul's wish was to be cremated and a private service will be held.
