  Dorothy J. Van Linn, age 91, of Menasha, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Theda Clark Medical Center. Dorothy was born on September 16, 1920 in Great Falls MT, to the late Benhard W. and Mildred S. (Egildson) Tessin. On June 30, 1942, she was united in marriage to Raymond A. Van Linn. The couple enjoyed 40 years together until his death in 1982. Dorothy worked in administration at Van Linn's Service until her retirement in 1995. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family and friends. She is a past member of the Ladies Elks and was a member at All Saints Episcopal Church, Appleton. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Schulze, Apple Valley, MN; a son, David (Cindy) Van Linn, Menasha; 5 grandchildren: Shannon Schulze, Apple Valley, MN, John Van Linn, Menasha, Jenna Van Linn, Menasha, Stacy (Ben) Johnson, Toano, VA, and Jim (Tiffany) Price, Neenah; 6 great grandchildren: Taylor, Austin, James, Brie, Benjamin "Rafe", and Ella; a sister, Patricia "Pat" Erickson, Little Chute; a nephew, Tom (Mary Fran) Erickson; and 2 nieces: Lisa (Tom) Aerts and Jenny (Dave) Yingling. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother and sister in law, William "Bill" (Anne) Tessin, brother in law, John Erickson. A Memorial Service will take place at 11 AM on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 100 N. Drew St., Appleton. Friends may visit directly at the church on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated for All Saints Episcopal Church, St. Mary's Chapel or for disabled children c/o Mary Schulze.
