  Sunday morning at 7:30 AM, Mr. Wm. Kasper died in his home after a lingering illness due to neurosis. The deceased was born on October 31, 1845 in Nierstein, Hessen -Darmstadt, Germany and came to America as an eleven year old boy with his parents, who settled first in Town #9 in Sheboygan County, after which they moved to a farm in Town Rhine. In 1873 he married Maria Menke and the couple moved to a farm in Rantoul in Calumet County, where they lived until they moved to Kiel in March of 1916. The marriage was blessed with nine children of which one has passed away. The deceased leaves behind his wife, three sons, five daughters, six grandchildren and one brother. The funeral will take place today (Thursday) at 10 AM with Pastor Rech officiating and then the coffin will be transported by auto to Potter for burial with Pastor Schmidt officiating at the grave site service.
