  Bernice Rose Geiger, age 89, passed away on December 14, 2013. Born July 16, 1924, to the late Henry and Marie Van Laarhoven. Bernice worked at St. Elizabeth's hospital for many years as an assistant care-giver for those in need. She was an active parishioner at St. Edward Catholic Church, and was integral to many parish activities and organizations. Bernice is survived by her three children and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters. A funeral liturgy for Bernice will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at ST. EDWARD CATHOLIC CHURCH (Hwy 47 N., Mackville). Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Edward Catholic Church. Online condolences may be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com. May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face.
