  Myrene Stevens, age 82, Land O'Lakes, WI, formerly of Neenah, WI died Friday, October 28, 2011 at Eagle River Memorial Hospital. She was born June 26, 1929 in Deer Creek and attended schools in Deer Creek and graduated from Clintonville High School. In 1952 she was married to George Stevens in Clintonville. Myrene was employed for many years as a bookkeeper in the Neenah area. After retiring she and George moved to Land O'Lakes. She was a member of VFW 8400 Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed needlepoint. Mrs. Stevens is survived by her husband, George; a step-daughter, Lynn (Chuck) Horn, Watersmeet, MI; sisters: Janice (Roger) Miller, Three Lakes, WI; Lorna (Ron) Piette, Neenah; sisters-in-law: JoAnn Popanda, Milwaukee, WI; Judy Klingbeil, Tigerton, WI; grandchildren: Steven (Corey) Horn, Sobieski, WI; Nichole (Kenny) Ansel, DePere, WI; great-grandchildren: Blayd, Kiana, Garret, Zander and Payton; God daughter, Diane Miller, Three Lakes; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Eloise (correct spelling) Dusel and her infant sister, Carol Mae Knapp. A memorial service was held. The Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home, Eagle River, WI is serving the family. Published in Appleton Post-Crescent on November 2, 2011
