  Beverly Krueger, 82, Little Chute, passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Hospital with her family by her side. Bev was born Dec. 19, 1928, in Green Bay, daughter of Gerald and Edith (Checota) Riley. Beverly was united in marriage to Myron "Mike" James Krueger on April 19, 1949, in Shawano, Wis. Bev enjoyed bowling and playing cards, especially cribbage and rook. She loved traveling all over to see the fall colors and to Colorado. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her wonderful family which included going on shopping trips to the mall with her granddaughter, Heather. In addition to her husband, Mike, Beverly is also survived by three daughters, Sharon (Jim) Jansen, Freedom; Vickie (Maron) Hauschel, Kimberly; and Michelle (Mark) Hopfensperger, Appleton; grandchildren, Jeff Hauschel, Scott (Jodi) and Chad (Heather) Thomack and Heather Hopfensperger; great-grandchildren, Jaina and Kendall Thomack; a sister, Pat (Russ) Owen, Michigan; and other relatives and friends. Bev is preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons, Michael Thomack and Keith Hauschel. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at 6 p.m. at Verkuilen Funeral Home, 101 Canal St., Little Chute, with Deacon Vincent DeGroot officiating. Burial will take place in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Beverly's name. Beverly's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital, especially Dr. Rasmussen.
