  Roger Schrimpf, age 80, of 1509 Humboldt Ave., died on Sunday May 27, 2007 at Beverly Living Center. He was born in Sheboygan on February 16, 1927, the son of the late Dewey and Eleanore Schoenung Schrimpf. He attended local schools and was a 1945 graduate of Central High School. On September 25, 1948 Roger was united in marriage to the former Carol Mae Renzelman in Sheboygan. Roger was the Assistant Manager at Park-n-Shop Grocery Store, retiring in 1991. He was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ, Evening Optimist, VFW Drum & Bugle Corp., and the St. Pauls U.C.C. Usher Club. Roger enjoyed working around the house, going up north and traveling. Roger is survived by his wife; Carol Mae, son; Gary (Katie Fitzpatick) Schrimpf, both of Sheboygan, brother; Orlin (Colleen) Schrimpf, of Mesa, AZ, sisters-in-law; Barbara Schrimpf, of Manitowoc, Ellen Schrimpf, of Sheboygan, and Shirley Renzelman, of Sheboygan. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers; Robert, Jerome, Kenneth, Arthur Schrimpf, and by his daughter in law, Judy Schrimpf. A memorial service for Roger will be held on Wednesday May 30, 2007 at 7:00pm at the Novak-Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home with Rev. Timothy Ashley of St. Pauls U.C.C. officiating. Family and Friends may call at the funeral home 1535 S. 12th St., on Wednesday from 5:00pm until the of service at 7:00pm. Internment will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Roger's name. The family would like to thank the staff at Beverly Living Center, Dr. Kumar and Dr. Gentine for their compassion and care given to Roger. The Sheboygan Press May 29, 2008
