  Henrietta "Hankie" Koll, 96, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at Rennes Health Care Center. Hankie was born in Appleton on January 13, 1915 to Mathias and Johanna (Ebben) Schilling. She married Erwin "Pete" Koll on October 30, 1945 in Appleton. She worked at the Zwicker Knitting Mills before her children were born and later she worked at Prange for over 20 years until her retirement. Hankie liked to crochet, knit and quilt and made many things over the years. Most of all Hankie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren even watching her grandchildren after school. She was a member of St. Therese, Christian Mothers, Altrusia and assisted the deaf and blind on outings and trips. Hankie is survived by two children; Greg (Kathy) Koll, Appleton, Louise (Harlan) Behnke, Hilbert, four grandchildren; Laura (Brad) Kees, Dan (April) Behnke, Anna (fianc? Michael Peck) Koll, Kayla (fianc? Ryan Takatsuka) Koll, three great grandchildren; Makenna and Griffin Kees and Maysen Behnke. She is further survived by nieces and nephews; Emma Jean Barke, Ellen Schreiter, Joan Bartman, Jan Panzer, Christine Kositzke, Frank Schreiter and Richard Schreiter, and special friends; Jane, June and Glady. Hankie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Pete, a sister; Dorothy (Don) Schreiter and a special friend Adell Schleis. The funeral liturgy for Hankie will be on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at ST THERESE CATHOLIC CHURCH (Morrison St at Wisconsin Ave.) at 11:00 AM with Fr. William Hoffman officiating. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of services at the Church. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Rennes for all of the wonderful and outstanding care Mom received, Dr. Brian Scott and his staff for everything they have done, and last but not least to Fr.
